Intensive Outpatient Program

Our Intensive Outpatient Program, or IOP, has been in existence since September of 2018 and has seen dozens of patients. We are very proud of the work being done in this program and have seen lives changed in miraculous ways. Here’s what one of the patient’s said about the program:

To say that the IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) has been beneficial to me would be an understatement. Once you have experienced the trauma of persistent depression, anxiety, mania, and the hospitalizations that always seem to follow; there seems to be no hope. There is hope at Clearview. It takes special people to work with those that have mental health diagnoses to be able to relate and provide a life line in times of crisis. The staff and other group members I have met have been a very positive influence on me. When I entered the program I was very doubtful that it would change my life. There is something different about being in a group and realizing you are not alone in your struggles. I can truly say that I feel better equipped now to handle the stressors of my life than I have been in many years. I feel blessed to have such a program in this area.

The program consists of group therapy for several hours a week in a safe, confidential environment where members get to know each other and share life, and a licensed therapist facilitates discussion and discovery.

The IOP not only offers group therapy, but the patient can see a counselor one-on-one, along with a spouse or significant other, and families can get counseling while in the program, too. Patients also have access to nursing and medication management. A holistic approach is taken with each patient where providers meet together regularly to discuss each patients’ care not only from a mental health perspective, but goals, physical health, spiritual well-being, relational, aftercare, and more. Transportation can also be provided, if necessary, and group members share in a meal.

Chatuge Behavioral Care

Chatuge Behavioral Care is an outpatient behavioral health clinic committed to providing excellent behavioral health care. A psychiatrist and nurse practitioner work to assess, diagnose, and treat each patient with current, effective modalities, and good old fashioned care and compassion. From the front office, the medical assistants, counselors, nurse practioner and psychiatrist, Chatuge Behavioral Care is here to help you discover, cope, learn, and thrive in your life.
