Emergencies

All routine prescriptions and authorizations for renewal should be requested during your office visit. If you run out of a medication, please call the pharmacy and the pharmacist will call our office for an approval on the refill. We normally will only refill a weeks medication to allow you to schedule your office appointment. You cannot have medication refills for a condition not currently being treated. Normally, antibiotics are not a refillable prescription.

Due to the significant number of insurance companies requiring pre-authorization for prescriptions, we cannot make telephone calls, accomplish insurance forms, or otherwise assist with your prescription. Please inform us of the type of insurance plan you have.
