Latest Coronavirus Update
As of today, July 16th, Union General Health Systems is currently experiencing a significant surge of COVID-19 related visits. For the safety of our patients, community, and staff, we will be temporarily halting visitation within our facilities again. While we understand the importance of family presence to the well-being of our patients, we feel like this is necessary at this time. We will do our best to accommodate virtual visits and phone calls to help ease the stress of not being with your loved ones during this time. Our OB patients will still be allowed to have one support person.
Union General Health Systems will continue to operate normally to provide needed care to our community, including elective procedures as long as we have the capacity to do so. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for your continued prayers and support and all that our community has done for us over the last few months. We do still have a need for mask donations as we deal with this prolonged crisis. Thank you for your trust in allowing us to meet your healthcare needs.
As a reminder, you can do your part to stop the spread of this virus and help keep our community safe and well by:
- Staying home if you are sick.
- Avoid touching your face.
- Clean and disinfect frequently used surfaces.
- Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
- Practice social distancing. Keep at least 6 feet between yourself and others outside your home.
- Wear a face mask when in public.
